  1. I don’t want to dogpile too much on this team right now given the state of things recently, but it really is disappointing to see NHLers finally back in the Olympics and for the Flyer’s representation at the tournament to be a replacement D for Canada and 3 depth players on European teams…

  2. That’s weird when he’s been lined up with Theadore every practice. I thought he would have earned to start with the team with how played in 4 Nations.

  4. People who think he is a #1D are the same bozos claiming Cates is a Selke candidate.

    This fanbase loves to delude themselves about our level of talent. For example, people actually thought Ersson was good until they saw Vladar play and they realized what an NHL caliber goalie looks like.

    Same thing here. If we ever get a real #1 defenseman people will realize how mid Sanheim was.

  5. Lol, I’m not that surprised. Just because he’s our #1 defenseman, he’s realistically just a really good #3 on most teams
