frustration mounting. sad season.
he's frustrated because he knows the kings are a black hole in the league. this is where careers begin or end. nothing in between
No one wants Kings Vet players. Derozan, Westbrook, Lavine, Sabonis & Monks trade value is very low. It's embarrassing that a team with Vets are this bad. This organization is hopeless. Derozan should take a buyout and leave
DeRozan won't abandon Kings fans. He's not like that. He's sticking with us because he's a professional. He's not going to jump ship when stuff gets tough, he's never been a quitter. Like James said, he's played in every single game and I guarantee you he's been hurt and he just doesn't say anything and still powers through. Always gives 1000% for us.
DeMar is a veteran we need to keep when we need a closer if stuff is close. We can rely on him. Plus he's committed to helping the young guys improve. Kings need a few vets and he's definitely one we need. Fans need to rally around and support him.
Were tanking for a better pick and giving the young players some time on the court together. I dont mind this
Doug Christie is a puppet of Vivek and Scott. He is trying to salvage his job as a coach
DeRozen was getting benched once Keegan comes back.
Waiving min contracts like Eubanks&McDermott dont save much because the roster spot still has to be filled.
Demar throwing a water bottle with 8 points, 4/11. Meanwhile he gets Raynauds shoe's wet while goes for 21 and 19
Demar to cclippers with kawhi…
Anarchy in CA
The kings owner needs to sell he team he doesn't care about the kings
Lavine is going to opt in this summer but still no reason not to try to buy him out if he thinks he can get a 1 year mle deal with a team he likes. That could save 15M Kings 15M. Also no reason to stretch him when Kings have no expectations next year. Just take the hit. Demar you could stretch since 3.3M for 3 years is manageable. If you can get him to accept 8M for next year that’s less than 3M per year.
Hammer I have really enjoyed you taking over, still watch Matt's pod too so we just get spoiled now. But this has been awesome, I know you have a ton on your plate between the pods you run plus your normal job. Appreciate it and it's been enjoyable
I put DeRozan and Maxx Crosby in the same category. These are two teams I’ve followed since I was seven years old — I’m 43 now. After everything they’ve given to my organizations, there’s no reason they should still be stuck in this kind of abusive relationship.
I love them both. They’re great players, true professionals, and good people. As a fan, I’ve got their backs and wish them nothing but the best. There’s no reason for all of us to keep suffering.
But at this point, I’m in too deep to walk away.
Welcome to the Sacramento Queens
Im happier since I stopped watching the Kings. 😂
No Murray, no sabonas (the highest paid player and the leader). De rozan is an awesome player, one of my favorite kings players ever! But it's not his team it's sabonas team and he isn't even playing and he is adjusting to the new situation and hasn't been able to. This is the biggest problem with the team. He should have been traded and the trade was not as great as was projected in getting him from the Pacers. Also, Lavine is an awesome player but he is trying to fit in with the team as is Munk and they haven't really found a way to really fit in. So the team needs to look at how the most successful teams in the NBA play and copy it. They have talent but they need to see what works. The mid game is awesome but really there just needs to be more offensive because your not going to stop these teams and the kings only hope is to win by offense. The defense is just not going to do it. So the quick passes to the open man and moving without the ball and higher shooting percentages are what is going to win.
We are tanking. This should explain everything (losing, lingering injuries). And I’m okay with that. There’s no shame in just planning for next year. Why can’t you all talking heads just that.
This is why having a deep team is going to make the difference in the NBA, the days of relying on a player to dominate the league are over. SGA is the closest we have seen to domination in the league but those days are gone and now it's who has deepest team. Ideally a two unit team is the best because each unit can take the load off the other and either one can carry the team if one has injuries or not able to play. It's the mid year and there is many injuries going on across the league.
I feel like the biggest fundamental difference between losing here versus losing in SLC is that Danny Ainge is probably mixing an alchemic substance together that'll result in multiple picks & franchise players within the next few years…
Its effort and energy it’s not talent
Get rid of the bull brothers, get this lottery pick (hope he’s as good as cooper flag), train up our young players
