EssentiallySports draft analyst Tony Pauline has predicted Broncos to draft a WR, TE, LB and RB in the first four rounds

Can we not with the Boston stuff? Dude has some troubling metrics, and his skillset directly overlaps with Sutton’s.
Like, take a look at my flair. That’s who Boston is. He wasn’t a terrible WR, but he wasn’t reliable either, and was exactly the type of guy you didn’t want being your WR1.
I still think Court can be a good but not great WR1 for the next few years on this team. What we need to ensure is that we either draft a WR1-like talent high or take shots at WRs in the 2nd and 3rd round who can develop into one given time. I favor the first strategy, since the latter usually results in an accumulation of WR2s and backups.
We have a solid roster that’s already ready to compete for a Superbowl, enough cap space to make sure we keep them around, and plenty of draft picks.
Honestly, I think it might be cool to trade up in the first round to get a receiver who’s actually going to make a difference, but what do I know.
If he’s available at our spot without moving up, we take him. But I’m sure he’ll be gone within the top 20 just due to need around the league.
We need to trade for Jefferson or Waddle and if not we need to go in heavy on Pierce in free agency
Kind of a bizarre choice for LB with Kaleb Elarms-Orr. Does Pauline know something we don’t? I don’t think hes currently projected to go anywhere near the 3rd round
I think we’re in a real nice position. We have tons of caps space to grab a top FA and we have a solid enough roster to take best available in the draft. With that said I hope they really focus on getting some play makers. We have a bunch of “#2’s” buy I don’t think we have that 1 guy.
Signing Breece Hall or even Walker III should be a priority IMO. The Broncos must develop a consistent running game in order to contend for the long term.
I’d love to see Denver snag Jefferson but I just don’t think Minny is going to shop him. Waddle is a decent consolation prize, if he’s not too pricey.
AJ Brown looked mediocre this year. He’s not worth it.
I’ve been tracking mock drafts for years now and I’d always be shocked how wrong they all were
the only draft where people were in semi agreement and correct was Nix
I can’t tell you how many times there were 8-10 different players mocked to them and NONE of them were the pick
honestly I wish I hadn’t done it because now I don’t believe anything lol
but it’s still fun, I guess
Boston is flying up the draft board right now
I’m not sure he will be there at the end of the round
Sign Waddle & Breece.
We don’t need another WR project from a very weak WR class.
We have enough “good” receivers. Unless we’re going to be able to take a breakout star in the first, I think that’s a position we’d be better off trading for a vet that would be a bonafide #1
I agree with drafting a WR and a TE. I’d start Mims as WR2 next year I would also love the Broncos to go all in on signing Kenneth Walker as a free agent. We save 8 million by not resigning Dobbins who I like but who is injury prone
Chris Bell WR Louisville if he has recovered from injury, Think Andre Johnson late of the Texans
Lack of production (receiving) at TE has been our weakness for *years*. We just can’t seem to get that piece. I was really hoping Engram would be the answer.
Imagine how good this offense could be with a big pass-catching TE.
