Dumont and the Adelsons don't care about making money on this deal. They've got more than they need to do anything in their imagination. That won't be a reason for them to sell it back to Mark.
Mark could have had this team in his family forever but he blew it.
Here's the Conspiracy. Cuban is making News so that an unknown investor can come in and make a big money offer to Dumont. Then he buys a percentage back from the new owner without being totally involved.

She was absolutely a funder for the genocidal colonization in GAZA. Mavericks fans should care more about that than the fraud and collusion that went on behind the scenes. Patrick Dumont was hired to be the fall guy along with Nico Harrison so Mark Cuban could return once the trade was through without taking the heat from the trade. Patrick Dumont was compensated with a guarantee that a Casino would be legal in Texas once the deal was done.
Nico Harrison said that he didn't know how the fans felt about Luka. That was the first red flag. The announcement that Cuban is going to return to take over the role of majority owner was the next red flag. Billionaires don't make the worst trade in sports history. They are very calculated in what they do.
These talking heads are company men and wouldn't dare question the integrity of the league, especially when it comes to the Dallas Mavericks.
Luka took the Mavericks to the finals and then got traded? He's clearly a top 3 player in the league. His highlights are unlike anything the league has ever seen. His game is unlike anything the league has ever seen. There is no way a GM, especially one with a track record of making brilliant moves, would just ruin an entire franchise and cause a revolution because he actually thought Anthony Davis, who had a history of injury, would make the team better.
The final red flag was the draft. There is no way that Dallas with a 1.8% chance of landing the #1 pick could have landed the #1 pick unless the league was behind it. And no, Adam Silver wasn't behind it either. He just does the bidding of the league. Basically how Trump takes orders from Israel. They aren't in charge of anything.
But I'll still watch the circus in Dallas because I need a distraction from the evil that's going on in the world.

Cuban needs to open up a public ownership structure like the Green Bay Packers and let Mavs fans buy into a "piece" of the Mavs. That way the team stays in Dallas and basketball is at the forefront, not building a casino in DFW
Dumont and Adelsons bought the Mavs as an avenue for legalizing sports gambling in Texas. They will not remove their taint from the franchise as long as their end goal remains possible. Their public statements about their best interests for the team and fans is B.S.
