  1. I’m tankful the Jazz caught it sooner before it could’ve been career ending.

Triple J better be healthy by the start of next season, to begin his All Star, and DPOY campaign

  2. Love it. We got a terrific proof of concept and now we can focus on literally the only 2 things that matter, losing and playing the young guys.

  3. Hopefully the kind of thing where it’s caught early and he’s 100% next season. I’d imagine this is the kind of thing that could have waited for surgery but given our situation no reason not to do it now.

  4. Next man up, though it will be disappointing to miss the playoffs due to this situation.

  5. thats a scary growth found tho I hope he’s okay and it doesn’t affect him too much long term. The internet says it could have a reoccurrence

  6. “Knee Surgery”…

I think Keyonte and Lauri also need some surgeries. You can’t make it obvious of course, so let’s put Key on ankle “surgery” and Lauri for some elbow “surgery”.

  7. Most concerning thing about this news is that PVNS has a high rate of recurrence.

Looks like a lot of people are thinking “great, tank improves and he’s back to normal for next season,” but there is definitely some long term risk here.

    Wishing the best for him.

  8. Not only are the jazz going full tank, the non players can’t even make trades successfully. This org used to have some pride. What a disgrace.

  9. This is a tanking job, this is how we keep our pick, get JJJ, next season is gonna rock but this remaining schedule will be full of losses.

  10. Oh man. What a shame. I’m waiting for details but hopefully it’s just a scoping and he’s good to go

  11. Interesting his knee seemed fine last night. But Lauri, Key need some optional surgeries too.

  12. Localized Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis is the diagnosis. Never heard of it but sounds like it is pretty damaging. Hopefully the league can step in and arbitrate the trade value back to Utah

  13. ESPN be like “The Jazz are committed to the bit so much they forced him to get fake knee surgery.”

  14. Grizzlies fan here. Sorry our injury luck is affecting you guys. I hope for a speedy recovery. JJJ is a great player and an even better human being.
