Deebo Out, Speed In? | The ‘Ben Johnson’ Blueprint

If you look at the Ben Johnson offense, Washington has the “X” and the “Power Slot.” But they are missing the one thing Deebo Samuel can’t provide.

Terry McLaurin is the X. Luke McCaffrey is the Power Slot. But to run this scheme correctly, you need a vertical “Z” receiver to take the top off the defense. We analyze why bringing Deebo back might actually “clog” the middle rather than fix the offense.
