  1. I went into this season not going to watch any games. A month or so ago I decided I would watch season opener and home opener. When it was revealed they were going to be the same game I knew it was going to be the only game I watched this year. After this game it'll be the best decision for the longevity of my life. It's the same fucking shit again and again and again. Nothing looks better NOTHING. Either Yzerman needs to go or Chris needs to sell the team. This was fucking awful! We waited 3+ months for this! My god! But I will always say Go Wings!

  2. It's one game. There will be more losses like game 1, there will also be some good wins. In the end, they'll be in the same place they have been.
Hit a mad pack and watch Big Lebowski, it will be OK

  3. Can we get Dan Campbell to coach these guys too?!?! Gave up after 3-1, not going to lie. Saw the SAME team from last year and checked right out. THIS TEAM IS A DISGRACE TO THE WINGED WHEEL.

  4. Give the Canadians credit they looked flat the other night against Toronto and as soon as Larkin scored Battle of fire under them. If you're going to preach defense start with your penalty kill. Make your penalty kill so good you can afford to make mistakes.

  5. I'm blaming Larkin for Emmett Finney's play. You wear that C on your chest for a reason you've been in the league long enough to know that when your team is down you reset with the puck and roll in the zone as a team. McClellan said before the in an interview that the team was passing way too much in practice and they needed to push into the zone and I think that's screwed them up even more.. the positive note in this is that we know exactly where the problem is there is no questionin it anymore those four players must be addressed.

  6. There’s also the point to be made that Montreal had also lost their opener and obviously didn’t want to start 0-2, like we probably will, so we got their best shot. And they are far and away a better team. Whoever set this schedule wants the Red Wings to start 0-6, and we’re probably going to make that happen.

  7. Lastly. Do we want to give the Canadians goalie an a+? The wings were about to go on a power play and they pulled the goalie the Canadian goalie recognized an odd-man Rush coming so he stopped play due to an equipment malfunction. Never seen that done before that's absolute genius

  8. Losing is one thing but how you lose was absolutely embarrassing hopefully this isn’t a sign of what’s to come, where was Raymond our future superstar

  9. Soft as baby šŸ’©. Where's any grit of pushback, they just took it hard and didnt punch back.. Austin Watson call up? Need some heart out there. Team is built so soft. Rasmussen skating around in circles how does he have a contract.

  10. The Wings suck. They've sucked for 10+ seasons. Of course, Holland gets pretty much a whole lot of the blame.

Yzerman did draft well and signed great contracts with Raymond, Seider.

His pro scouts are a dumpster fire. It's not even funny how he signs vets who have been horrible for 2-3 seasons.

  11. Either Coach is going to get this team finally tough and playing good hockey OR we need to really shake things up and clear out some of the softness that's built up in that locker room. And, unfortunately, I think Larkin is who you ship out first.
