Nico was the Cubs best player on the field and at the plate last year for the 2025 team. This is the player fans all knew he could be. I hope the Cubs will be able to extend him because he is the best 2nd baseman in the National League and one of the most reliable hitters in the League as well. I hope the Cubs will pony up the kind of money that he deserves and sign him for another five years.
