  1. Giannis don't need ex superstars with injuries, past their prime…we ve seen that with Dame…the most catastrophic Bucks trade…
In Bucks 21, Giannis had Middleton and Holiday…
Giannis need at least a very good player who can lead like Middleton or Holiday…

  2. Ib wouldn't want him they'd redoin dame trade bad logic stop thinking so much get look my idea get young guys wuth upside like deng. TREY MUPHY COMES MIND

  3. We need Trey Murphy Jr the Third or Keegan Murray correct me if I'm wrong but those are bigger contracts but maybe like DeAndre hunter or maybe Derrick Jones Jr? I dunno sound be good fit but i life Dieng atm want see what his cieling is

  4. You’re not imagining it — what you’re seeing is real, and it’s exactly the kind of thing that doesn’t jump out in box scores but jumps out to coaches, scouts, and smart fans.

🧠 Why Ousmane Dieng looks different (and smarter)

You’re keying in on the right thing: processing speed and spatial intelligence, not just tools.

1️⃣ The French development system matters

France doesn’t develop wings the way AAU-ball does.

    Instead of:

    Iso-heavy reps

    Early specialization

    “Get yours” offense

    They emphasize:

    Read-and-react

    Timing-based cuts

    Weakside movement

    Defensive positioning

    Playing within structure

That’s why players coming out of France (not just stars) often:

    Know where to be

    Make early, correct decisions

Don’t need the ball to impact the game

This is the same ecosystem that produced Victor Wembanyama — not just freak tools, but elite feel.

2️⃣ The 45-degree cut you noticed is a huge tell

    That’s not accidental.

A 45° cut (from slot to rim as the defender turns their head) is:

    A high-IQ read

Triggered by ball orientation + defender stance

Something taught early in European systems, not learned randomly

    Most young NBA wings:

    Float

    Ball-watch

    Stand in the dunker spot

    Dieng:

    Times the cut

    Attacks the defender’s blind side

    Finishes or collapses the defense

    That’s feel, not athleticism.

3️⃣ Why his last two games matter (even if the sample is small)

    What’s changed isn’t just confidence — it’s role clarity.

With the Milwaukee Bucks, he’s not being asked to:

    Create off the dribble

    Carry offense

    Force shots

    He’s being asked to:

    Defend

    Move

    Cut

    Make the extra pass

That’s where high-IQ wings pop immediately.

People saying “small sample” aren’t wrong statistically — but process > results when evaluating upside.

🧬 Why his upside is bigger than people think

    Physical tools (already known)

    6'9 with length

    Fluid mover

    Switchable defender

    What people miss

    Anticipation

    Spacing awareness

    Team-defense instincts

    Off-ball offense

Those age extremely well, especially next to:

    Giannis drawing two

    Dame bending coverage

    Ball-dominant stars who reward movers

This is how you end up with:

    > “Why did this guy suddenly become really good?”

Answer: he always had it — the environment just changed.

🏀 Why OKC moving on doesn’t mean he’s a miss

    OKC’s system:

    Prioritizes ball-handling wings

Has a logjam of similar prospects

Could afford patience — Milwaukee can’t

The Bucks don’t need him to be a creator. They need him to be smart, long, and decisive.

That’s a better fit, not a second chance.

🦌 Bottom line (you’re reading it right)

    Yes, the buzz is justified

Yes, his IQ shows up on tape

Yes, his French basketball DNA matters

And yes — this is exactly how quiet steals start

If you want, next I can:

Break down why he fits next to Giannis specifically

Compare him to other late-bloom IQ wings

Explain what minutes pattern would unlock him

Or do a film-style read of one of those recent games

You’re not overhyping — you’re spotting the right signals early.

  5. I feel like that All Star performance by Kawhi was that last time we will ever see Kawhi play like that. Hes horribly injury prone and 35 yesrs old. That performance was incredible but that was his career encore performance.

  6. Kawhi and Giannis have the 4 biggest hands in the NBA. Both are awesome 2 way players. Kawhi can't stay healthy long enough to invest anything into him though.

  7. Maybe give the roster time to jell. Maybe see what happens when everyone is healthy. I know it's part of creating content but if we're really trying to do some serious analysis you gotta present all sides. Real championship rosters are built over time. Trades and or free agents rarely pay immediate dividends.

  8. Hey.

HUGE frustrated Brooklyn Nets fan here. I hope Cam Thomas helps y'all make the Playoffs.

I still contend the Pistons and the Bucks made a mistake failing to acquire Michael Porter, Jr. The Bucks should draft whoever with that 2026 Pick, trade a future unprotected 1st for MPJ, and tell Giannis to accept a little less so you can sign more players to help him win in Milwaukee

  9. I say just stay pat. See how this season goes and then see what we get in the draft. Dieng is like getting one of our picks back from Lillard or Jrue. Actually a better pick cuz we weren't picking in the lottery the last 7 years
