  1. Starting to consider just skipping the regular season for my fucking mental health. That this team fails to show up when it matters this consistently is truly concerning, specially when this year could be the best shot they have at a championship during the remainder of the jokic era.

  2. Brook Lopez being left open on that inbound was such a 0 IQ decision. They were about to be at the 5 second inbound violation.. cam or jones or whoever that was on him just needed to play man to man D on that

  3. That was rough to watch. Defensive effort was there for a lot, but turnovers, awful offense and again what feels like negative clutch down the stretch – it isn’t like the Clippers were executing great under the pressure, we were just worse. Jokic and Murray badly need to turn it around or we’re screwed.

  4. If Joker and Murray play at their base levels and not any worse that’s a comfortable dub tonight or any night. Throw in PWAT and Mr. Nugget and I’m confident in this team.

  5. The front office is smart for not going into the tax. If your key players get injured endlessly, underperform, can’t defend at all, continue to be stupid in clutch time, then there’s nothing they can do to this relatively deeper team.

  6. can everyone come back so we can stay healthy for the rest of the games and build some chemisty, endurance and better touch
this season is so frustrating to watch

  7. The late game offense by the nuggets is getting very alarming. This particular game I didn’t understand why the nuggets didn’t try to post up Jokic deep in the paint every possession. (Because they definitely could have) Jokic would have scored or passed out of a double team every time down In that situation. I just don’t get why they don’t try to run a traditional “in and out” game sometimes with Jokic. I feel they try and force Jokic to dictate the whole offense from the top on the key far too often.

  8. I really had high hopes for Adelman at the beginning of the season but goddamn he really needs to go he’s an awful coach

  9. Everyone is dooming in this thread. The reality is that the nuggets have had injury problems all year and do not have continuity or chemistry. That does not mean the team is bad, but if they can’t get healthy soon I sort of doubt they have the runway to build chemistry before the playoffs. Really though, I’m just happy we are still in decent position after over a month of Jokic being hurt. We just need to stay patient and let the team gain their footing before we start panicking.

  10. This team is quickly becoming concerning. Most if not all of our issues will be fixed with health but you’d really like to them close out games like this one and vs Cleveland. I also didn’t think jokic would be affected this much by the injury but it’s not great. Though I suspect that it’s also unfortunate timing with possibly his eternal wrist injury flaring up again

  11. Yeah, this team definitely has a clutch problem. Injuries have obviously been a big part of it; the ideal closing lineup is probably Jamal-Jok-CB-AG-PWat but those guys have all been healthy for like 5 games. DA has tried some combination of Cam, Spencer and Julian but they have all been pretty rough in late game situations.

However, there is also a significant issue with the coaching strategies. The defense completely falls apart the last 5 minutes without fail. The offense becomes a grind and they seem to go away from whatever was working earlier in the game. Guys always look like they don’t know what they have every possession on both ends.

Getting healthy and Jok finding his touch will help a lot but DA has gotta figure something out schematically.

  12. Grasping for positives here but I always feel a little better when the issues are on the offensive end instead of on defense. We played good defense all night

We know with 100% certainty that we can be a capable offensive team. They can figure it out on that end

  13. Murray finally hit the stride pre all star break so now he will skid the rest of the year apparently… sad jokic put up a stinker on the same night

  14. This team is trending towards making life in the playoffs near impossible. Forget about the bad habits and characteristics, the seeding is going to kill them. Giving other teams edges when they should have it

  15. i’m sure once aaron gordon and pwat get healthy the nuggets will be fiiiine (that was a tough watch)

  16. jokic is cheating the game with the flailing. I swear he never did this to this extent. I especially hated when he asked for 3 free throws

  17. Idk if concerning is the right word. But it’s definitely strange how bad we’ve been in the clutch this season. Idk just weird seeing what used to be one of the biggest strengths of the team become such an issue with barely anything really changing in the team this year lol

  18. Remainder that if it weren’t for gordon Nuggets would have blown a 20 pt lead against the clippers and wouldn’t have taken game 1 against okc (all of this in playoffs). I fucking miss AG so much, this team is truly painful to watch.

  19. Baffling how bad this team is at winning close games ever since that meltdown against Minnesota

  20. I didn’t tune in to the game until the fourth, did we do our usual 3rd quarter bedshitting? I mean this Clippers team blew itself up

  21. We really are missing AG quite a bit right now. He is our game changer with his defense and then random outbursts on offense. We are also missing Watson too badly, Braun has been getting more into the groove but he does not move the needle on offense they way Watson does. Getting those to back before the end of the season is crucial. Though with how we are playing we might really be playing in the Play-In this year.

  22. For anyone wondering why the nuggets aren’t clutch anymore and the ‘2man game’ sucks now. Here’s the answer to your question.. MPJ. It really was never a 2man game since mpj was always a threat on the corners. What you’re seeing now is the actual 2 man game. Adelman hasn’t made the adjustment yet and keeps losing. What is the adjustment? Instead of going with all defensive personnel around Jokic and Murray to close it out maybe give them one player that has been hot all game(Strawther)??

  23. Rollin through the thread 🎶
    blockin doooomers 🎶
sippin on a capri sun 🎶
laaaid back, with my main man Murray
bouncing back next game time 😁

  24. Just haven’t had it in the clutch this year, crazy to see after so many clutch moments in this era.
Fun vibe from earlier in the season just gone too, guess winning helps a lot with that. Hopefully the fellas get out of the funk as they start getting more people back.

Crazy they’re getting a back to back off a break, but good so they can try to flush this game. Definitely need to stay more consistent throughout the game, will be interesting to see how they come out. GO NUGGS!

  25. Just saw the highlights but there’s really no way Jamal missed another free throw like that. Man. Dude that’s rough

  26. Anyone freaking out about this loss or any of their losses really is missing the forest for the trees

  27. My whole thing is anyone saying we need to get healthy and be healthy come playoffs. Chances are they won’t. Last year MPJ and AG got hurt. Year before Jamal hurt his leg during the Lakers series. Outside of 2023 which even then Jamal hurt his hand towards the end of the run.

Just gotta hope for the best but we’ll see. Still gonna root for the nuggets no matter what. Not turning on any of the players.

  28. The NBA app says 114-115 Clips. I didn’t get to watch the game. Which one is right?

  29. Not excusing the players at all and I think ultimately a lot of the blame for tonight’s L in particular falls on Jok and Jamal

But I’m looking at Adelman and this coaching staff and I’m seeing a team that’s lost a lot of games basically the exact same way this year and that’s continued to underperform in the clutch and hasn’t made any real improvements defensively – again, the players and their effort and their issues executing shouldn’t be excused as a reason but that definitely doesn’t reflect well on the coaches either
