Everyone’s free agency crush being Tyler Linderbaum is very interesting to me.

Linderbaum being that bad is interesting. Seems like we’re packers fans when they signed aaron banks last year. They thought they had something.
How often is a center facing a true 1v1 pass set. How many teams run a true NT? This seems ripe for misconstrued analysis.
Is there any further data than a colored xcel sheet? Were duo blocks part of it? Anything?
Kind of a bummer that Shanahan’s philosophy isn’t to build an elite line. Imagine the offense with an offensive line like peak Detroit a few years ago. Would be nearly unstoppable but we have Purdy running for his life and our line struggling to open holes
Bills Center is a free agent too
He allowed 26 pressures, a career high(9th most among centers) but only one hit and maintained a 97.2% pass block win rate. He has a 91.2 career run blocking grade. He fits the scheme perfectly but will always struggle against size.
Number 4 was picked 8 picks after Jake Moody.
Number 10 was picked 8 picks after Mitch Wishnowsky.
Another reason why these picks were stupid and should never draft special teamers early. When you draft special teams players early, you necessarily forfeit the opportunity to find good players at positions that actually matter.
Yes the draft is a bit of a crapshoot, but that doesn’t mean you should make stupid gambles. When the league has shown you can reliably find good punters and kickers off the street, you’re way better off saving 3rd and 4th round picks to make smarter gambles on higher value positions. Like centers.
It’s sad that I immediately looked to the bottom of the list before the top 😂
Brendel is 34 and ass. Cut him. Re-sign Hennessy. Draft Hecht or Slaughter in the 2nd or 3rd round and have them compete for the starting job next year.
