What we did in the playoffs was phenomenal and legendary

0 turnovers all playoffs for the first time ever. I agree
Agreed, but usually takes many years to solidify that.
One of the 60 best teams of all time because of the trophy. But clearly in the top 10-20 of those without argument. It was a pretty convincing playoff run against the best of the best this year.
We got hot and couldn’t be stopped. Everyone knew the NFCW was going to field the champ the last third of the year. Maybe the Bills had a chance to compete…but they did the thing. Again.
Idk why people get so offended by the idea. “But they weren’t fun to watch” so what? They only watched us stomp the Niners twice, Patriots, and have a solid win against the Rams. We played good football for most of the year. We have the stats to back it up. Not sure what else they want
If it was an east coast team, they’d be glazed forever
They were all time great but people don’t respect them enough because the Rams were neck and neck with them.
I’m kinda biased but, I think so too.
To win this Super Bowl we had to:
1. Beat THREE 12 win teams. (first in history)
2. Beat the MVP and the runner up.
3. Beat the 1st and 2nd ranked offenses.
4. Beat 2 divisional rivals.
5. Only trailed for 95 seconds during the entire playoff run.
6. Commit 0 turnovers. (first in history)
One of the best teams in NFL history, which is supported by every single metric and statistic we have for measuring team strength.
I mean yeah, I know I’m biased, but they were the number 1 seed, tied with the best regular season record for the year, coming out of the most competitive division that went in and won the Super Bowl by multiple scores against one of the other teams that tied said record.
That alone puts them in very select company before you factor in point differential, number 1 defense, playing the MVP of the league 3 times etc
The 2025 Seahawks are ranked the top 3 Super Bowl winning team of all time by DVOA
How many turnovers on downs did this D get this season!?
And the offense needed zero 4th down attempts in the playoffs.
It really is a remarkable run but of course nobody wants to believe it 😛
They’re mid.
The broncos probably would have beat them if their QB didn’t get hurt.
Honestly they’re never gonna get the recognition because the AFC was so fuckin bad. They’ll be forgotten because of that and just Hawk fans and NFC West fans will remember the year we had.
Legendary is most apropos. My humble opinion
We hit a groove later in the season where our run game was dominant, JSN was a game changer and our defense just absolutely dominated at every position. Sam went on a tear of efficiency and our kicker outscored many teams. Add a special playmaker on special teams and we were 11/10 on all cylinders of the game. Just unstoppable.
I hate how Rich Eisen wasn’t ready for that so he didn’t even really explore where that was coming from. I assume he understands advanced metrics enough to be aware that the numbers suggest that the Seahawks were historically good. And he’s positioned to be a part of the narrative. But in that moment he turtled up.

Whatever.
We. Did. Not. Care.
