Kuminga tries to create his own shots and doesnt succeed, benched. Kuminga doesnt make the right play, benched. Kuminga fails on the defensive end, benched. Kerr was stunting his growth and killing his confidence, every time he touched the floor he was scared of getting benched which resulted in him becoming docile rather than be assertive on the offensive end. Kerr was the problem not Kuminga. Kuminga is 23 years old!

    Now granted, Warriors have been trying to get back to the top for the past 4 years now so everything has been about playing championship basketball, Kerr didnt think Kuminga was at that level yet which is why he always benched him. We saw in that Minnesota series last years just how much talent Kuminga has, he just hasnt honed it yet. Kuminga needs minutes and experience. He was never going to develop well on the warriors while Curry and Draymond and Kerr so desperately try to climb back to the top, which sadly probably wont happen.
