  1. We'll miss Drew, for sure, but it's not the end of the world. Biadasz actually played really well in Dallas, especially with excellent guard play next to him in Martin and McGovern. Thuney and Jackson are better than them, and Roushar is the best OL coach in the business.

I really like Linderbaum, but can they afford to go $22+ million for him?

For sure they'll get a C prospect, but I can't see them going with a rookie next season.

  2. I'm not gonna lie this actually makes me worried. Your center is the captain of the line. Obviously the other guys can play but man this sucks

  3. Use that money and improve the defense. Bears are still ahead of schedule, next year play it safe, you’re not beating the Seahawks. Bears are in good hands now with Ben

  4. Why can I never have nice things… fuck man how does this shit always happen to the Bears.

Also good for Drew got his money and left before some long term health concerns pop up.

  5. As a Bears fan I'm disappointed that he retired from a football standpoint, but from a personal standpoint I can't blame him because I wish I could retire at 27 and be set for life.

  6. Most of you are not thinking about this from the proper perspective. Drew Dalman most likely has something personal going on with himself or his family that he desires to remain private.

I do not believe he is retiring because of a desire to take his money and run.

  7. First of all Dallman retiring , lets hope it is not some injury or head trauma that has caused it . And lets hope his family are all ok nothing serious .
At this time he may have lost the desire to play and the passion , he is a very good player and whatever happens I wish him well . Hey maybe he has a change of heart and will come back , I hope so .

  8. Smart guy, has a Stanford degree, contact his rookie money and then $18 million for 1 year's work, gets to retire at 27 and not take anymore punishment on his body. Tbh, surprised more guys don't do this. Ball out for 5 years , retire a millionaire . Invest wisely , he's set his family up for life
