So I checked to see how the Marlies are doing… for obvious reasons.

Turns out they haven’t updated the stats since the 2024-25 season. You can see for yourself here: https://www.marlies.ca/stats/player-stats/335/81

I guess MLSE doesn’t care to spend money to even hire an intern to update the website.

This is absolute bush-league by the organization.

  6. This has nothing to do with MLSE. They don’t have a Marlies website stats person.

    All those sites are run by the AHL.

  10. I bet you some manager at the marlies doesn’t know this and someone is about to get in trouble. My friend worked at MLSE and they usually take this seriously so I’d be shocked if it’s not rectified

  12. There should be laws that the sports team should be owned by a combo of the municipality and a publically traded fund

  13. Hey now, they’re still kinda working on the site… The first story up on their page is that Coca-Cola Coliseum is hosting the women’s gold medal watch party Feb 19 (Feb 17th posting)

  15. Just another indictment of our lack of management. How did this even happen. We used to have one of the strongest front offices in the league with a thorough plan for everything

  16. I don’t know a single person that goes to an organizations personal webpage to get player stats.. theirs this cool thing called google….

  20. when I was 10 playing in a kids league they had the full roster and stats for every year going back to like 2002 on their site. This stuff is worse than beer league lol.

  21. Been saying this for a while.

    The leafs are only here to generate revenue for the other MLSE teams because if those teams suck they’re gonna lose revenue.

    The leafs are at max profitability regardless of team success whereas the jays/raptors have to be good or they lose revenue as fans will stop going.

    Rogers takeover was bad for the leafs.

    Pelley is here to slash expenses un areas like scouting, advanced analytics, sports sciences, etc.

  28. Goto AHL.com- then skaters stats- then pick Marlies under teams drop down menu and you’ll see this years stats there! Hard but it works!
