So Key played 54 games this year and is set to miss at least his next 7 with his hamstring injury, so he won’t get to the 65 game threshold to be considered for Most Improved Player.

I don’t know he would get it anyway because the universe hates the Jazz, but still a shame because of how hard he’s worked and the results that’s translated to on the court.

  1. Kind of a good news/bad news situation. Keyonte deserves the recognition for the amazing way he’s upped his game, but he’s become too good for a tanking team. In the long run it’ll be better for us but hopefully Keyonte knows he’s the MIP in spirit

  2. Media wouldn’t have given it to a “tanking” team, especially one so scrutinized.

Jalen Duren will likely win because his team has improved a ton as well (but I feel like that’s more of Cade improving his team)
