  1. I have to say, I am no fan of Israel (not sorry for mentioning it) BUT I am a huge fan of Deni and support anyone representing their homeland. A lot of players don't want to talk about it, or they act like these connections like he has with the other Israeli player aren't important but I really enjoy seeing him light up and want to talk about it. It has nothing to do with politics which Deni has no control over. At the end of the day he is a basketball player who happens to be from a country that does horrible things (just like I am from the USA and we do horrible things). I plan on eventually buying an Advija jersey and I would wear it proudly even if I happened to be at a pro-Palestine rally or something like that.

  2. Translation to the hebrew question:
Reporter: Deni, who would you say is the most important figure in your career?
Deni: without a doubt , bubble t.j warren

Q: Deni, you're just 25 years old, but where do you rank this night among the most special nights you've experienced in your career? And, how do you even summarise something like this, that happened in this city, with the most Jewish people, during a war?

A: I think it hasn't sunk in for me it yet. First of all, it's tough that a lot of guys from the country couldn't manage to get to this game because of the war. I really hope that everyone is alright, i send them all the best in the world in these non-simple times. But, you know, even to watch us on TV, representing the country proudly, on these stages, the biggest stages in the world, it makes me emotional, and i'm sure it makes a lot of other people emotional, too. It's one of the funnest nights i've played in ๐Ÿ˜

Q: Is this the craziest cheer you've received since Yad-Eliahu*?
A: Unequivocally. I also said in an interview that it reminded me a bit of Menora** of old times. It lifted my energies a bit, in a day which i was lacking some energies, it lifted them and i'm happy we won.

Q: Does it add pressure on you that you perform in front of so many thousands?
A: No, there's no pressure. I think they come for me. Wether i score 50 or wether i score 10, i think people are happy to be there for me and that they're happy to watch me play, and i'm happy to go on the floor and play and to really do what i do, and that's it… i don't think it's pressure. It's an honour and it's fun
