  1. Was rooting for Team USA but I’m happy to see Salvy get a WBC victory in his last go around with it. Also Geno and Bazardo obviously.

  2. Incredible showing from the Venezuelan squad. Their bullpen was fantastic all tournament and continued it tonight.

    Well deserved!

  3. Mark DeRosa is a traitor who is part of the Taliban and single-handedly caused Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the Fall of Saigon

  4. Fate of the Universe on the line, you need a hit to prevent utter annihilation. Are you choosing Aaron Judge or your teams back up catcher?

  5. Venezuela had the better pitching, better hitting, better fans, and better managing. Absolutely the best team. Too much will be said about DeRosa, Judge, etc but Venezuela deserves this.

  6. Congrats Venezuela! What a great tournament. Let’s hope part of the CBA will be clearing the road blocks for guys participating (insurance, team buy-in, etc.).

  7. I don’t ever want to hear Aaron Judge referred to as “Captain America” ever again

  8. Up until the Harper at-bat, was this game on pace to legitimately be the worst offensive performance of all time with respect to the expected performance of a star-studded lineup of Team USA’s caliber?

  9. This US lineup which was constantly praised and talked about as a death star lineup was shutdown in this tournament by a:

    * 17 year old

    * Farmer who hadn’t pitched since the last WBC

    * Single-A guy named Tugboat

    * Various other perennial minor leaguers

    * A guy with a career ERA of 4.19

    DeRosa needs to be fuckin gone, this team was cheeks.

  10. Don’t be sad that it’s over. Smile because you don’t have to hear another fucking Women of the Bible or David commercial again.

  11. Pathetic showing by team USA. Can’t be a dream team if you never hit the fucking ball

  12. Honestly the Venezualans appreciate this exponentially more than Team America would have…this means everything to them. Well deserved

  13. Eugenio was right God is on the Catholic team’s side, Not the Protestants, on this great St.Patrick’s day

  14. I fucking love that Jeter is always fair to everyone in his analysis and sugarcoats nothing. Someone else tried to excuse USA’s bats by saying it’s only March, Jeter responds, “it’s march for everyone here”

  15. lol what embarrassment of a person in the postgame show tried to say USA couldn’t hit because it’s March and the hitters aren’t in regular season mode yet? Is it July in Venezuela?

  16. You know, call me crazy, but I feel like that hockey jersey stunt cursed team USA.

  17. Arraez jumping into frame like a cartoon character. A-Rod saying getting a hug from the commissioner means the world to these guys. This is a fever dream 😂

  18. Watching these guys cry as they scream their national anthem…moving stuff.

  19. We have to watch every single USA player’s face hold it together as they receive the silver medals and then the broadcast shows the back of the Venezuelans heads for the gold medals.

    Absolutely botched.

  20. Another great thing about the WBC is there’s no owners to receive the trophy before the players.

  21. USA: partying til 1 in the morning before the Italy game

    Venezuela: we were studying Team USA until 3 in the morning

  22. Love hearing the cheers from the Spanish-speaking crowd drowning out the translator lol.

  23. Ok mi gente, es oficial. Solo podemos hablar en español en este sub. Bueno suerte, amigos
