I personally don’t find the Giants-Commanders rivalry severe compared to other NFC East teams. I know there used to be several heated moments between them and us but do we still hate each other that much?

  2. Used to be one of the best, but decades of ineptitude by the commanders and now the Giants has made it irrelevant.

  3. I’d guess the commanders aren’t hated or considered rivals by any of their NFCE opponents because they have been non-threatening for a long time.

  5. Lower tier rivalry than the cowgirls and birdbrains, due to historically being much worse and their fans being much quieter/less obnoxious than the other two.

  6. It exists. That’s about it. Commanders are the odd balls of the NFC east. Feel like the rivalry between all 3 of the Giants, Eagles and Cowboys is greater than any rivalry the Commanders have with them.

  7. The rivalry took a nosedive in 21st century with Dan Snyder killing off a huge percentage of the fan base and having year after year of dysfunction and losing. Also, from my experiences, Washington fans are far more tolerable than Dallas or Philadelphia fans.

  9. My dad and I have a friendly rivalry (im giants hes commanders and we live in Delaware) we try to go to the giants @commanders game each season. Washington fans are super nice but competitive. Win or lose its always hand shakes and pleasant goodbyes. Love their fans.

  10. F the Eagles and Cowboys and the old St. Louis Cardinals. OId school Skins, respect the run game and strong D. That’s just my take.

  11. I don’t think that much of it because there haven’t been very many significant games between the two teams played in the last 30 years.

  12. I can’t recall ever feeling a particular way about them like I did the other two division rivals. I am old enough to remember their two SB teams.

    I have always had a visceral hatred of Dem Turds and anything Philly. Maybe just such a strong feeling towards them that I just never cared. Or perhaps they just have not been consistently relevant to earn the disdain.

  13. I live in DC and I think people forget we’re rivals sometimes. I can’t even really rip on them too hard because of how bad they sucked during the Snyder era.

  14. Honestly, it hasn’t been much of a rivalry for decades. One of the last memorable games was maybe the Frerotte headbutt game.
