  5. Sam Gagner, Cogliano, Pjarrvii, Hall, Omark, Hartikainen, Schultz, Larsen, Marincin, Lander, Yakupov. The amount of times i thought this was our year. Next thing you know it had been 10 years! Hence the decade of darkness. It's a double edge sword because yes we eventually got Leon and Connor but holy hell that 10 years was rough af.

  10. In this "rebuild" Connie has a lot of chess pieces and its not just a matter of stockpiling prospects and getting all hyped up over it.
    Now it is a matter of using those chess pieces to time things right.
    There is no point in trading away chess pieces just to get a bit of a scorer at the wrong time in the teams developement.
    Thats why Anderson, Weegar and Kadri were dispensible.
    Good players and good guys at the wrong point in time for team developement.
    Once things start to gel then when the time is right you replace those 3 lost guys with guys of equal stature.
    In the meantime explore the assets you have to build a core group of up and comers. Some will come and some will go.
    Then trade for a game breaker once the team has a clear direction. No sooner.
    I think Connie will make the right moves with all of those options.

  17. Gridin HAS zero problems with his confidence. To me hes a future Captain. Your captain HAS to be confident. Gridin will tell you how awesome he is . That takes Balls …..then he backs it up . Thats my Captain.

  23. Be interesting where Calgary drafts this year. I feel besides mkenna and stenberg it’s all mixed up. Belchetz could be a later draft I’m hoping Calgary picks up. First overall in the ohl. Kid is playing on a terrible team.
