“He gets released on June 2nd, which is terrible by the way. That’s terrible because the 49ers can designate him a post June 1st release right now… They will wait until June and wait until after the draft and make all the other teams make decisions without him being in the fold— including picks. Then they will release him and hope that he probably latches on somewhere at a very, very small contract for 2026. I think there’s a little bit of vindictiveness happening here, but I guess I understand it if things really got that sour.”

Aiyuk, clean out your locker of everything, if you haven't already, and Daniels, go to where Aiyuk lives and back up to college speed with Aiyuk, including watching old film from the two of you playing together.

We just need to be patient with Aiyuk. If SF waits until June 1 then we get him cheaper. If SF cuts him April 1 and we pay 13M, June 1 it's 3-5M less.
