Saw Berube basically blame him for the loss tonight but hasn't once heard him admit his horrible system has led to probably the worst puck possession game in the league and made our goalies do twice the amount of work than they should be.

  2. The funniest part about the NHL is teams recycle the same coaches. Once Berube is fired, another moronic team will be right there to snap him up.

  3. Bérubé is a bottom 5 coach in the NHL right now, don’t care about the cup. Dinosaur system, and never seems to push the right buttons with his star players. Lineups also suspect.

    Unfortunately the leafs are still getting some decent goaltending so no top 5 pick

  5. We have star goalies but if you’re left out there with nobody in front to help, there’s nothing they can do

  6. Honestly, while they’re seemingly not interested in making a call on the coach until after the season is over, I’d fire him now just for this nonsense of calling out dumb shit after games. Last thing we need is players getting pissed off because the moron coach who is on his way out can’t keep his mouth shut.

  9. Indicative of the biggest stat I’ve loathed this year (aside from goals, obviously). Shot differential. It seems like they’re -10 or worse in this department every game. Moneypuck has it to date as -280.

  10. Leafs are dead last in the league for so many defensive statistics.

    The reason we’re not ACTUALLY in dead last is because of the goaltending! In spite of everything, goaltending has been pretty good this year.

    The fact that Berube would single out Woll like this just shows this guy is not the one to turn the ship around. Clueless

  12. I don’t understand why they’re not playing Stolarz more. Like when he’s played he’s been good why are they trying to run Woll into the ground

  14. Everyone loves Deboer in this sub but he also critiqued his goalie.

    It’s the last step along the path of desperation and frustration. To me it says he’s getting fired soon and knows it

  16. Berube is a clown. His team gets outshot HEAVILY most nights and the season is over yet still ripping the goalie who’s actually hasn’t been a problem for us is wild. Can’t wait until he’s fired.

  19. Woll and Stolarz are literally carrying this team on their creaking backs right now. 

    I hate this pattern I see in hockey where when someone doesn’t pull any weight, the guy doing his best to make up for that gets the blame. 

  20. I’d love to see how many shots we’ve taken during that four game stretch… I’m sure it’s probably two thirds at most of what Woll faced.
