Reds Transactions 3/21/26 – Bleday, Hinds, Maxwell optioned to Louisville and reassigned to Minor League camp, Banfield reassigned to Minor League camp
I cannot believe we are running with Benson as a primary OF again.
he should be platooning.
Lowe making the roster over Bleday and Hinds was a done deal once they revealed that Lowe’s contract had an opt-out of he wasn’t in the majors by tomorrow. It makes the most sense, this way they keep all of their options open by stashing Bleday and Hinds in the minors instead of losing Lowe for nothing.
Seems good to me and they don’t lose anyone going this route, which creates better organizational depth.
I’m hoping for these lineups, but I know Hayes will be starting.
