This Diamondbacks Submariner Is Nasty | Antonio Menendez

Antonio Menendez bullies hitters ๐Ÿ˜…

The submarine-heavy approach last season kept him from what made him elite, so they rebuilt his three-quarter slot, cleaned up his pelvic positioning, and brought back the multi-slot variability.

They also added an 84-85 mph curveball from the highest slot. ๐Ÿคข

  1. That's a little predictable. Once he reaches two strikes he always throws a breaking ball, regardless of the actual count. Ik it's a pitching showcase, but the hitters gotta catch up with the knowledge quick.

  2. Definition of "movement" and on top of that the speed! Oh let's not forget him switching up pitching styles. Watched this reel 7 times!! Great job bro!! โšพ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฏ

  3. It looks like he's throwing strikes from 3 arm angles. The ball could be spinning 10 to 16 ways that are totally different depending on the slot of the pitch๐Ÿ˜ฎFastball, cut, sinker, slider, curve, changeup,.. It becomes even more of a guessing game to the batter. That's what makes hitting a Baseball the hardest thing to do in Sports. All about Geometry & Physics if you wanna play so study up

  4. Hitting a MLB fast ball maybe the most athletically impressive skill there is. Do it 2 times out of 10 and you're a professional. Do it 3 times out of 10 and you are in the hall of fame…do it 4–10 consistently and you're a Japanese robot ๐Ÿ˜†
