Flames have the biggest difference between Home and Away records in the league this year

  1. For anyone wondering, our home record equates to a 98 point season and would have us leading the division ahead of Anaheim who are on pace for 96.

Which, given that we essentially need to draft most of a top 6 still, and shipped out our two top d-men this season is absolutely wild.

If we can get some good players in this draft and our current prospects pan out, we’re actually doing very well on the rebuild.

  2. Ethical tank keeps chugging along, giving the fans some good home victories while getting us closer to a better pick on the road.

  3. I think this really shows how capable of a coach Huska is. The roster as constructed when teams get the last change is terrible, but when he’s able to get matchups he wants, they’re way better than the sum of their parts.

He might be one of those rare coaches that is good for a rebuilding team, but is also someone that can take a team into the playoffs and succeed.

  4. We have a better home record than some playoff teams, but we are the worst road team in the league. Obviously it’s hurting the tank, but looking at what Vancouver is doing, the least they could do is try and make their road record pathetic instead of their home record, it’s pure misery in their arena these days.
