Can’t play 20 minutes of hockey even against one of the worst teams in the league and expect to win.
This team’s downfall will be playing to the level of their competition. An inexcusable loss tonight.
At the end of the day, we only lost by 1 despite playing for only 30 minutes

Good period but took them way to deep into the game to wake up
Of course that bullshit icing goal is the deciding one. Cant play 25% of a game and expect to win regardless.

It’s getting frustrating watching them look like a deep playoff contender team for 1 period a game after looking completely flaccid early and falling into 3-0 holes.

Honestly at this point I’d like to see Eiserman, Eklund, and Aitcheson get some minutes to finish out the season I see no reason not to give them a shot consisting all of the injuries and the handful of players that are doing nothing except for talking up space on the bench.
Trying to make a push for the playoffs and this is how you play, at home, against the second worst team in the NHL!?!? Unacceptable.

Isles came out in control and then let Chicago score 3 goals while they dicked around. If this is how you play down the stretch at home you don’t deserve a playoff spot.
