2. The nets are fine in Brooklyn they’re just the inferior NY team with less prestige and pedigree. So it’s ok for BK fans to like the Knicks since it’s still NY at the end of the day.

3. The only way the Nets were to ever truly solve the issues they have would be to relocate outside the NY metro area, which isn’t happening without new ownership that has big ties to another market. Their franchise valuation would drop precipitously elsewhere, given they’re still the 6th most valuable team in the NBA in 2026.
