  1. Personally I still believe in #9. He may not have all the boxes checked right now but that kid has the “razzle dazzle” the “it” factor. He may need more time to develop sure but don’t give up on a 22 year old who should have been 7-4 in his first year on the field, behind the C squad OLine

  2. Can he make him 6'3" nope. Can he fix the attitude problem? Maybe. I've never been sold on this guy. He doesn't work hard, he's never shown he's a professional QB.

  3. The Vikings have three former first round picks in their QB room, all for the price cheaper than Marcus Moriota. This really is a test on how good KOC is as a QB whisperer

  4. The heck it is…. Kevin O'Connell should of been fired too this last & kyler Murray sucks overrated QB to short & skinny for the NFL MURRAY ISN'T even proven winner either & he is injury prone player just like jj McCarthy this isn't for the Minnesota vikings land

  5. Chris loves madden I know somebody he might appreciate this. I only use the vikings on madden usually but I've been using the cardinals with koc's offense and its been rough. But you hit the nail on the head. I like a few select players… budda baker and sweat and Calais Campbell's strength is really all ya got on D. And offense is ok with McBride and Harrison Jr. And if ya use the carries and run game right with conor, Benson and murray. Definitely not winning as many games. Learning a new defensive playbook and the audibles arent the same even with the the same offensive playbook. Kylers mobility is underwhelming at first but thats because jj mcarthy is actually pretty damn fast.

  6. There is absolutely zero reason for KOC to get credit for anything Daniel Jones does lol. He was in the building for like two weeks.

  7. I finally glad someone in the media called out KOC's play calling. He can do it, think Cousins, but Darnold reinforced his sit in the pocket, Deep Ball ITIS syndrome and got JJ and Wentz killed last year because of it. If he doesn't change Murray won't fare any better.

  8. I don't think Kyler needs fixing – fine tuning maybe, but how do you "fix" one of the most accurate passers, and 3rd best rushing QB in the league???
I think it is more likely that Kyler unlocks the Vikes offence with his accuracy, rushing, and off schedule ability – a combination that KOC has never had at the Vikes – and the main question will be how quickly Kyler, KOC and the Vikes offence can adapt to each other.
Kyler's career completion rate is 67%, with 77% of his throws on target, and only 15% bad throws – with a maximum variation of 2% either way for his entire career – so he is incredibly consistent.
League MVP, Matt Stafford's career completion rate is 63.4%, with 75% of his throws on target, and 18% bad throws – so I guess he must be in even more urgent need of repair.
Kyler does make the occasional hare-brained throw when he tries to do too much, but KOC and the Vikes infrastructure should be able to minimise that.
The Cards O Line and WRs constantly sabotaged Kyler throughout 2024-25 with numerous big plays called back for holds, or great passes dropped -problems that will probably largely go away at the Vikes.

Don't be surprised if Kyler is in the MVP conversation late, and Jefferson pushes 2000 yards and wraps up the OPOY.

  9. Bullshit. There is no answer for Kyler Murray. KOC is not a quarterback whisperer. Kyler doesn’t listen to anybody. All he is literally interested in doing is playing Call of Duty® and collecting a paycheck every couple of weeks during football season or however, often they pay players.

No amount of coaching can overcome the fact that he is too tiny to play the position of quarterback. No amount of coaching can overcome the fact that he is an injury machine.

Kyler has proven in his seven years in the NFL that he has no work ethic and no leadership skills whatsoever. And he is about as mature as your average eight years old. And that’s an insult to eight-year-olds.

The only reason why the Vikings are taking a chance on him is because he came so cheap. And the Vikings have issues with the salary cap. If they were so sure about Kyler, why did they sign Carson Wentz?

As of today, Carson Wentz is the best quarterback that the Minnesota Vikings have. By far. And Carson is just average at best.
