It was my first thought when watching the video. How do you make a “future of Chicago is bright” and leave out Bedard and Buzelis.
I get hockey isn’t as popular but people really forget Bedard is still trending towards superstar-level player for the next decade in his respective sport. I’d go as far as saying if the Blackhawks rebuild works out, Bedard could be on “face of the sport” level.
Love Buzi but unfortunately just going to assume that org is going to fail him in the long run.
