  1. At 6:07 or 8:00 the man's will have missed the guards and forwards take the best big man you've got to get through the Spurs and take players and second round picks and move up from 30 and remember Mark Cuban says you can always buy a number one pick right Mark

  2. Kidd not going to select Acuff he is a defensive liability. Like Murray put up 53 on us last night. When your gaurds don't gaurd it put your big men in foul trouble. And again They are renewing Kyrie contract so we are not drafting a point gaurd. If will either be a wing, forward Plus Acuff is 😊to small and if you can't gaurd Kidd want play you

  3. Kind of a toss up. Acuff or Flemings or Wagler. All would be assets for the Mavs. I also think that any of them will move to the 2 spot after Kyrie retires. I believe that the Mavs have their long term PG on the roster right now and his name is Flagg.

Watching CF this season shows that he has the court vision to be a PG. He has the height to see over most defenders (like Luka). And his can move off the P/R and get to the basket. He is a plus defender as well.

  4. Why not trade both top 5-6 pick and 30th to move up. I know we need a guard but I think you can plug and play bench guards with Kyrie starting. Williams and Nemby are more than capable of running point. Getting Boozer is a must.

    1. Kyrie
    2. Christie
    3. Flagg
    4. Boozer
    5. Lively

Pretty nasty starting 5! PJ, Naji, Gafford off the bench is great depth and gives them flexibility for playing match ups

  5. #1 is Boozer for me. If we drop out of the top 4, I hope to trade down and pick up Brayden Burries. Maybe we can get our 2027 pick back from Charlotte with a trade down. For the second FRP, Alex Karaban. If we retain most of the players on our roster, our depth/line-up could look like:
    – Guards: Kyrie Irving, Brayden Burries, Ryan Nembhard, Max Christie, Klay Thompson, Brandon Williams
    – Forwards: Cooper Flagg, Alex Karaban, Naji Marshall, PJ Washington, Khris Middleton, Caleb Martin
    – Centers: Derek Lively, Daniel Gafford, Marvin Bagley
Run it back with this team, don't over-spend or take on long contracts. See what we have, what we need and work next off-season with some exciting free agents possibly becoming available.
