“Top three needs: EDGE, S, C. The Bears didn’t use free agency to sign a star defensive end, so all signs point toward using an early draft pick on a player to start opposite Montez Sweat. Chicago hasn’t used a first-round pick on an edge rusher since drafting Leonard Floyd at No. 9 in 2016, but given the depth of the position in this draft class, the Bears are in good position to address a major need early.”

  8. To trade for Myles Garrett, it's most likely that we trade Montez Sweat post June 1st and include our 2026 1st and 2027 1st. Second most likely, we trade Caleb Williams without using draft capital but hopefully the Browns will give us some draft capital in that trade. Either way we would need to trade either Caleb Williams or Montez Sweat in either same trade or separate trade to open up current and future cap space. Jaylen Johnson wouldn't make much sense because we wouldn't save much cap space and his contract is worth keeping him. Other players don't make much sense because after the trade we wouldn't have enough draft capital to properly replace said players to justify losing said draft picks. Except Dayo Odeyingbo post June 1st, but would the Browns even want him and is he even healed and ready from the injury?

  24. It would be worth 3 1st rounders just to see what sacks X Infinity would look like!😂 Inagine Montez and Myles getting after the QB. It would look like a chinese firedrill!

  27. Thinking safety is a bigger need than edge rusher/d-line is a bad take. We've done nothing to address our pass rush, which was the weakest part of our entire team last year. You can find a safety in the later rounds or sign one that is still available in free agency.

Here are the results: 2rd pich 2027 , 3x3rnd picks 2027 , 4rnd 2027, 2x 5rnd pick 2027 plus Mac Neil Warren 57, Ingbinosum 88, STowers 105, Muhamad 106, Parker II in 108, Claiborn 111, Benson 129, Durant 147, Dixon 209.
