WTFFFFFFF 😱😱😱

One million short of a nice contract.
Lmao this really is the new era no way Angelo’s would’ve done this
Now we just need to drop a truckload of money on Gunnar to keep the good vibes going.
That Chris Archer trade continues to bite the Pirates’ ass
Legitimately insane. This was on a grand total of ZERO people’s bingo cards
I mean I guess for the trade price you paid you may as well do this as well
This is a risk since he hasn’t picthed yet, coming off injury last year and has been what mostly is medicore. I would rather take the risk and sign Rogers
I mean I probably would have waited to see him throw a regular season pitch first. But I guess they liked what they saw in spring training
Still not many people talking about the Os this year, but they may be talking about them a lot more soon.
That’s an absurd contract for a guy with a glass arm and isn’t even fully established as a pitcher yet. Why not just work an extension with Trevor Rogers?
The whole ‘Orioles spending money’ thing is so bizarre to me
Ok now do Rogers and Bradish
seems risky, but sure why not
$14m a year is nothing for a starting pitcher, wow
Love this extension. Hopefully, they can get one down with Bradish and Rogers too.
Nice.
There’s a guy whose last name is Boz who hangs out with Gerrit Cole a lot, according to Instagram, and I always think it’s this guy, but it isn’t.
Anyway, that’s all I have to say about this.
He’s a recent former Ray, so he’s good but never healthy. 5/68 feels like little risk for high reward. Makes sense why they’d offer it and why he’d take it. His arm could explode tomorrow and he’s got 68 million dollars in the can.
My dad is a Rays fan and has been crying about trading Baz within the division since the second it happened. He’s getting ready for another tirade as I type this lmao
Rogers next and then fill in the entire Inner Harbour with money to pay Gunnar, cause that’s what its going to take.
Wait, you’re allowed to do that?
I’m happy with ownership. Hell hath frozen over
This is now our highest paid pitcher ever
Not only that, until this, Scott Erickson was the biggest extension we’ve ever given a pitcher
Mull that over for a fat second
I don’t think he’s a bad pitcher at all, but a guy with a 4+ FIP in every season and has only stayed healthy for 1 season in his career doesn’t seem like a guy that’s worth giving a sizable contract to.
This is a great deal for Baltimore, quite low risk given the upside.
