  1. Imagine we had Costas for this game? “As Paul Skenes exits his mound of valor, one can only wonder how much of this outing isn’t his fault.”

  2. The patches are not on the same sleeves
Some Mets logo patches are on the left and some on the right, same as the Davey patches. Who the hell messed that up? This is going to bother me.

  3. Nothing to be excited about. The Pirates lost more than we won. Peralta won't give length this year. Actually, he performed what I think is his average game. Out by five and leaving the bullpen to do the heavy lifting. We're seeing the 25 Mets, with the influx of solo shots. This game had a lot of scratch Met hits, bad defensive plays by the Pirates, and even worse Pirate pitching. If Skenes was Skenes, this would have been a 7-3 loss for the Mets. Ugly game.

  4. Alvarez just needs to keep the Weight Off. Also, METS Fans just saw 3 Long Time Home Grown Players be Dumped (Nimmo, Alonso, McNeil) and they Didn’t Sound like they Care. 🤫
