The only thing I took out of that article is that Eileen Kalas is an old grumpy hag.
The man still has a statue, and will forever be the voice of the Phillies. I don’t get why people are still milking this nonsense.

If I’m Ghost Energy I’m telling the Phillies that it’s going to be Ghost Energy Deck at Harry the K’s as soon as new awnings can be ordered and we’ll split the $20k to Eileen for the bar and to keep the song. Better publicity than the awnings and signs ever would have been by themselves.
I’m very aggravated about them changing the name, not because I think it’s an insult to Harry, but because it continues the trend that anything is for sale in the ballpark.
I mean this as respectfully as possible but his wife needs to get real. Changing the name of a food stand isn’t “taking away everything (Harry) did for the city” nor is it “betraying everything he ever did for them”.

Renaming the place was a shitty move. It lacks class and takes away character from the stadium and just adds one more level to CBP just becoming another massive corporate billboard. All stadiums are, sure. But we had something nice here that honored a legend.

Also I don’t understand why they couldn’t have negotiated a naming rights deal for the deck of seating in front of Harry The K’s. That’s been crying out for a sponsor for years.
Not like there isn’t enough advertising in baseball in the first place, but ghost energy sucks too, if the owner was a huge Phillies fan he would have specifically asked for it to retain the Harry name.
