Hey all, I had the pleasure of watching Boozer in the Sweet 16 in person yesterday. I detailed my analysis on his game throughout this tournament and why he’s still my third overall prospect at this time. I think he’ll be a GREAT player in the NBA, but I’m not sure he’s the franchise piece I think the Wizards need. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be thrilled to take this guy third overall.

  2. I’m not sure any of these guys, regardless of this phenomenal draft class, are capable of changing the franchise in my opinion. I think we are much farther away from having a play-in team than a lot of people think. A few months ago I thought having a draft pick anywhere in the top 6 would be game changing. I think AJ Dybantsa would be the most helpful. Darryn Peterson does not seem to have the drive the wizards need. I would love to eat my words on all of this. 

  3. I feel like if we can get picks 1-4 we should be fine. But I’m a supporter of AJ at number 1 or 2 depending of what happens with Peterson. I love Boozers competitive nature and his skill set. He reminds me of a shorter Tim Duncan, very fundamentally sound. Peterson is a pure shooter but I’m not impressed with his motor especially during the tournament. Caleb Wilson has an extremely high upside and if his body develops he will be in the mold of JJJ. But if I get my wish AJ will take us over the top, even if AD is injured or Ice Trae can’t make it an entire season. AJ is a dog and has no off button he’s all go! Love his energy and in an open NBA spacing he will consistently get to his spots. Reminds me of Tracy McGrady in his younger days before his jumper was wet. I want AJ in DC!!

  6. Any of the top 4 is fine. We just gotta hope we aren’t screwed by the lottery. I understand some podcasts need content. But that’s all there is to it. We take who we can based on our pick. AJ, Peterson/Boozer, then Wilson.

  7. We struck out last year not getting Flagg, Dybansta is the next comparable prospect and I need to see him in a wizards jersey next year.
    He is exactly what our team needs to finally be competitive, and be a 4-7 seed

  8. I want a 1 or a 5. Take the best available from those positions and call it a day. Enough bullshit with BPA. If we get another wing which shoves Bilal, Kyshawn and Riley further down the minutes distribution I’m seriously gonna stop watching this team.

    Especially now more than ever, seeing as the league is changing regulations to stop the tanking.

  9. May get downvoted, but acuff or Peterson is our best fit. Love me some bub, but he is a 2 and he can be moved between with some ease.
