  1. Losses like this really show you that this team is incapable of doing it when it gets tough absolutely no heart no grit no lol just kidding could you imagine

  2. There’s a lot of reasons we lost this one but I’m choosing to put all blame on the ump show.

  3. Great for Abreu to get that homer to tie. Honestly if you can’t score in the top of the 10th and 11th, you don’t deserve to win.

  4. the annoying part is if not for the “attempt to tag” at home by gray or the throwing error from story [or potentially the challenge usage], we win in regulation. and now the bullpen is taxed in a way it shouldn’t have been

  5. We shouldn’t even have been close to making it a game so it’s at least a positive how they overcame the messy first innings and the bad calls. Lesson learned with ABS, both bullpens are completely shot so tomorrow will be interesting.

  6. I can live with that. Poor showing from Gray, but not enough to ring alarm bells. The hitting is a bit more of a concern, a lot of early and aggressive cuts. This team also needs to learn when to use its ABS challenges, burning 2 in the first three innings isn’t gonna work.
Solid work by the bullpen overall. There just isnt really anything you can do with an ump like Bucknor behind the dish. Roll on the next one!

  7. ehh it is what it is, that’s just the way a game goes sometimes.

They had a really stingy umpire, they played a little sloppy but not egregiously bad, things just broke the Reds way. loses are inevitable just gotta bounce back for game three tomorrow

  8. This is one of those games where I’m ok with the loss because of the way we battled back. We’ll get our fair share of these wins.

  9. Well fought loss, gotta keep ur challenges and use them only for egregious misses early on, especially if u know the umpire is bad. We’ll learn moving on

Gotta clean up the errors, the hitting with RISP late, and the challenges but otherwise showed some good stuff

Will have a bit of an advantage having Early and Oviedo available tmr with both pens used fairly heavily so far, gotta take advantage and win the series to get things started on a good note

  10. I’m glad they came back, showed heart. Long season. More baseball tomorrow. Excited to watch the kid throw

  11. I think this game will be a good learning experience for Anthony. He’s got a lot of rightful praise so far but games like this help to humble guys a bit. As long as he takes it in stride I think it will help him grow.

  12. I like the way they all battled all game. Gray didn’t start well but battled for some big outs. The offense battled despite CB Buckner calling the game. A tie game and heading into extras after the first 9? That shows some grit and professionalism. Thanks Abreu. Too bad we couldn’t get a ghost runner across but so it goes.
