I heard from a friend who is friends with Romo that Timmy has been going through a rough time for a bit now. I’m not active here and more of an M’s fan, but I encourage anyone who cares about Tim to let him know you care. A random social media message I’m sure will do. The way I understand it, the guy needs all the support he can get at the moment.

We were just talking about him. I sold his tee way back when he started with the Giants. He used to hang out in my store. Such a nice guy!
He’s been through so much. First, his brother passed away, and then his wife passed away not too long after. Couple that with no longer being in baseball which i would imagine is such a central part of his identity.
I hope he knows how beloved he is by Giants fans everywhere. (Hell, even non-Giants fans too.) In his heyday, when he was on the mound, you KNEW it was gonna be a double-digit strikeout game and a W to boot.
Based on this post and other “sighting”-esque posts we’ve seen, there’s a very strong chance he still lives in the Bay Area. Despite that, he definitely tries to keep a very low profile. But man, can you imagine the cheers he’d get if he showed up to the ballpark? It’d be deafening.
I miss that guy, these current Giants have been lacking that swagger he brought for years now
Good to see the dude out there taking it easy for the rest of us sinners.
