  1. * Montgomery hit a grand slam in the 1st! He added an RBI single in the 2nd.
    * Murakami is 3-for-9 with 3 solo HRs and 4 BBs this season.
    * Pereira hit a solo HR.
    * The Sox blew a 7-3 lead, allowing 6 runs in the 8th.

  2. Fire Getz. Worst GM in MLB history and that’s not an exaggeration. Idiot never deserved the job in the first place.

  3. Well…

There is after all a reason why Dominguez has never stuck as a closer in this league…

  4. What a fucking failure of a team lol

Better luck in 2029, assuming Jerry honors the terms of his reported deal

  5. Can we one day get pitching staff that isn’t absolutely complete and utter fucking dogshit at what they do? Just get half decent pitching and let Montgomery and Munetaka carry the team at this point.

  6. Well the lead was fun while it lasted, but it was also pretty obvious we were in trouble after Sproat left the game.

That being said, today’s game was closer to what I’d been hoping to see from the team during the first two games. Kept it close even if we lost.

I know I’m going to get a bunch of shit from the doom and gloom fans, but I’m sorry I’m just never going to reach the level of bitterness about this team that some of you all are at. Baseball is great no matter what, you win some, you lose some, and even in a loss you can still have moments of fun.

  7. Texted my friend “Sox just got a grand slam in the first! I’ll follow up once they blow their lead”.

Tbf, it took them longer to do it than I expected. I guess that’s something.

  8. Jerry Reinsdorf is on of the biggest pieces of shit in sports history. Forever fuck him. Guy has ruined Chicago sports for several generations of Chicago sports fans

  9. does every one of our pitchers have at least one earned run charged to them besides Martin and Fedde?

  10. 0-3 in games where Mune hits a homer. So either he should not hit any or hit more than one.

  11. 3 games in, Brewers fan don’t feel good about winning. They feel bad for us already. I hate that I love this team

  12. We finally have our Trout/Ohtani combo! Muri hits a home run in his third straight, Colson mashes a grand slam, and the White Sox fall 9-7, get swept by the Brew Crew.

  13. White Sox are ALREADY starting “the Pattern.”

For new fans, here’s how that goes. We’ve lived it for about 14 years now:

-White Sox assemble impressive young team

-Out of the gate, they are amazing. Offense is killing it!

-Pitching blows 20-30 games a year

-Offense completely shuts down because, psychologically….what’s the point?

-end up losing 90-120 games, unwatchable team

This happened with Chris Sale. This happened with the rebuild.

  14. I went to get tacos and opted for music rather than finishing the game. I am shocked we lost lol wtf happened. The whitesox are SO back
