2. If Jeremiah Love (generational) is not available, the Commanders should trade back for picks. They should also re-sign Deebo and Wagner. Wagner can still provide situational defense and is a descent fit at a descent price. Let us not forget about leadership, the locker room and overall culture Wagner cultivates. We’ve signed an off ball linebacker and we’re high on McGee. But they were “high” on Quan last year. So there is that. We’ll see. Deebo is still a mismatch creator/playmaker/tone setter. Period. Sign them after the draft to one year deals. Easy. I have no idea why folks think these two are washed up? Make it make sense.

12. Hey Lou, just a quick note on the paying attention to the start and end of the "draft season", I'm not sure how early you mean by that. At the very start (Dec – Jan) Bailey was seen as too small and too weak a rush defender to be picked so high. Bailey was mocked as early as 12-20 in most drafts, while Bain was seen as the clear #1 edge prospect. Personally I like Bailey a lot more, I'd love Bailey, Love or Downs @ 7 or trade back and get 1 of the WRs.
