If we do trade back to pick #11 who would you like us to take there?

  1. that means we get a second right? give me best available defensive player at #11 and a WR in the second

  2. Same guy who said Jennings was in the building but not a single mention of that happening from anyone else

  3. They wouldn’t do a deal before the draft, if anything they’ve discussed trade compensation in the event that there’s multiple guys on the board at 7 that they like and believe won’t get selected before 11. IF there’s actually anything going on that is.

  4. Per Drafttek:

    1.07 (WAS) has a value of 1,500

    1.11 (MIA) has a value of 1,250

Their 2nd round pick is the 2.43 and that value is 470. The value would be 1,720 if they paired that to trade up. We are in prime position for someone to overpay trading up for blue chip talent since there aren’t that many prospects with that label and one is bound to fall to our pick

At pick 11 you’re hoping someone like Delane, Bain(?), or Tate are falling. No way Downs, Love, or Styles escape the top-10. They’re probably one of the ones being traded up for if not Bailey, Mauigoa, or Freeling. I add a question to Bain because I’m hearing not as many as anticipated are thrown off by the arm length. You could target one of the injured studs like McCoy (let’s see how he does on Tuesday at his pro day) or Tyson (incredible prospect). Or a wildcard pick could be Lemon (please not that early), Sadiq, Thieneman, or if my analysis is more in the ballpark then Boston as well (probably not especially with the Dotson trauma vs consensus)

My most delusional fan trade would be them trading up to 7 and sending us 11 + Achane lmao but that’d only happen if they had Nico Harrison

I’m not a fan of trading back this year unless someone overpays. We are in a prime landing spot for a true game changer in this particular draft. Not worth sacrificing that for anything later than an early 2nd or future 1st. Quality > quantity for this draft

  5. To trade back and get any of Tate, Delane, Love, Downs, Styles, or Bain would be fantastic. That’s 6 guys plus Mendoza, Reese, Bailey and a Mauigoa who all should be gone.

One of those 6 guys I named is going to fall unless you think I just correctly nailed the top 10 picks in late-March lol.

If all 10 of those guys are off the board, I’d honestly look to trade down again. If I had to make a pick, I’d probably roll the dice on Tyson. Would also look long and hard at Kendrick Faulk.

  6. Makes a lot of sense to me. There are a lot of options at 7, if they know someone they like will be there at 11 that’s a good spot to go back to. It’s way better than the late teens or futher. That said I’m not in love with the idea, I’d rather try to get Tate/Bailey/Love/Styles or someone like that at 7. But the team is in dire need of talent and another pick or two would be so helpful.

It actually makes sense for the Dolphins if they’re trying to get Tate or something since they have a lot of needs including probably the top WR on their board.

Also wonder if Washington is thinking of offloading Payne for a third if anyone wants him.

  7. I really like the value of having a second and still getting someone at 11. Possibility someone we have chatted about at 7 falls a little bit, or it becomes a lot more attractive to take a guy like Delane, Lemon, or even Tyson.

I’m actually a little surprised how little attention Delane has gotten at 7. We need CB, it’s like this is just an overlooked position at this point however. It’s a huge position of need however and to walk away with a 2nd rounder and the top CB prospect would be a pretty nice situation for us to be honest.

  8. Delane or Lemon, or even McCoy as we have a decent enough cb room for him to get healthy

  9. 1. Bain
    2. Reese
    3. Tyson
    4. Downs
    5. Tate
    6. McCoy
    7. Styles
    8. Terrell
    9. Delane
    10. Ioane
    11. Love

  10. Lemon or Tyson. Maybe delane if he’s still there. Best guy available, with an eye at wr due to need and the fact that I see this as a potential 40+ a week offense with a solid wr2 in the lineup.

  11. The best part of being 11 is being right in front of the Cowboys and denying them a top player

  12. It surely depends on who is still there at 7. Like : The night before the draft a video of Reese smoking dope in a gas mask leaks or two teams believe Ty Simpson is him and a bidding war to trade up to 5 or 6 for him shakes it up — someone drafts someone way too early etc.
But if I were going to kiper mock it, if Delane was still there at 11 probably, Faulk, Sadiq.
