12. Completely disagree with Ham about Devin Carter. Devin Carter has shown more in limited time than Clifford. Clifford has played well the last few weeks, but he was abysmal much of the rest of the season while Carter never got a chance. Carter fills up the stat sheet. He’s an insane athlete, his plus minus is one of the best on the Kings and now that his three point shot is finally falling he’s a legitimate offensive threat and he’s a pretty darn good defender.

    It’s true that the offense didn’t look very smooth tonight with Carter at point guard but his assists per minute has been pretty good this year. He penetrates to the basket well makes some great kick out passes. Still needs to work on pick ‘n roll but there’s a good player there.

    You’re not comparing apples to apples since they’ve played Clifford a lot more because they were very thin at the wing while they had a ton of guards. Kings should keep both players; neither will be stars, but both could be very good role players.

    Lastly, why does Ham and others keep saying it didn’t work with him at point guard during summer league? He was the point guard on a team that got to the championship game in Summer league – advanced stats showed him as the 12th best player in Summer league. I watched several of his games in Summer league and Carter was rough on the edges, but he improved tremendously at point guard. He actually passes the ball pretty well penetrates to the basket well – his best attribute is he has the clutch Gene when it’s the fourth quarter he makes winning plays on both ends of the court so who gives a crap about how smooth the person looks. You should want winners Carter makes winning plays at winning time. He had an amazing fourth quarter recently to bring the kings a win. He hasn’t nearly had the same chance that Clifford has and he deserves more of a chance. In the two Summer league games I watched Carter in person when the game was on the line he made. He penetrated to the basket and got Clifford a wide open shot. Then he blocked a shot at the end of the game to save the win. Carter is one of the few players on the Kings that when he gets a rebound, he looks up the court.

13. Jefferies has looked pretty good except for one thing – he had at least three or four very low IQ fouls last couple of games; fouled a three-point shooter from nearly half court at the end of a quarter tonight. Those are the things Keon Ellis used to do too much of which is why Brown and even Christie wouldn’t play him as much as fans wanted.

14. You guys do realize that Brooklyn head coach Jordi let us have this loss right? That's why he didn't bench players, he did us a favor because he was on the Kings before he became the Nets head coach.
