Good point from Bednar regarding coaches and front office.
I think the GM for the Knights blamed Cassidy for how the players played. Cassidy is a good coach. He won't be on the coaches merry-go-round long.
They didn't win the Presidents trophy in 2022. They smartly took their foot off the gas after they clinched the West 1 seed,& lost some games at the end so Florida grabbed Prez trophy. But got home ice anyways when TB beat Florida. And that's all I really care about is the West 1 seed.
Their magic # to clinch West 1 seed (& probably Prez trophy also)-is 10 points. 10 points gained or failed to gain by Dallas counting the tiebreaker-which they will clinch with their next regulation win or regulation win failed to be earned by Dallas. But if ya win Prez trophy great but if not-who cares as long as ya win the West.
