Legit question: What is the justification for replacing anyone in the lineup with a kid who hasn’t even practiced with the team. We’re 8-1-1 in the last 10 how can you justify to the person you scratch and why, and importantly what’s the messaging to the rest of the team of why Martone gets a lineup spot.
I’m very bullish on this kid, but I’m trying to think what Tocc’s messaging is both to the team as to why he gets a spot and to the person that eats a scratch. I have to imagine on this run everyone is feeling good wants to complete, and I don’t want to spoil the mindset.
They’re saying the arena will be Porter’s House but the kid definitely looks like a Filet Martone to me. LFG!
