  1. What a fun game. LMJ shoving, Tuve mashing, and Carlos making great plays at SS like it’s 2017.

  2. That was one of the most fun games I’ve watched in a long while.

Great start to the series. Let’s go!

  3. Altuve 4/4 with 2 HR and Lance McCullers posting a 1.29 ERA? It’s 2022 all over again!

  4. Yordan dongs one, Altuve with a 4 hit game and 2 HRs, Correa with multiple web gems at Short, McCullers goes 7IP with 1 ER and 9Ks

    WHAT YEAR IS IT!?!?

  5. What a game! Offense went off! LMJ with the best start so far. Keep building on it boys! 3 wins in a row!

  6. Lance McCullers have yourself a day! Great performance by the prince. We joke around a lot but im so happy to see he’s rewind the clock. This offense is lethal. They legit can be the best in baseball if they are hitting.

  7. I saw it yesterday while I was at the game and again today. Looks like they’re just trying to hit the ball instead of trying to hit for the fences.

  8. Brethren WE ARE SO FUCKKKING BACK!!! MVP ALTUVE IS HERE!! CY YOUNG MCCULERS IS DICING!! YORDON BOMBS ARE ON THE TABLE!! WE BACKIN 2017 AND I LOVE IT!!!!

  9. Those that started with optimism this season are feasting. At least I am. I know it’s still too early and pitching needs to pick up but I know our 1-6 can be dangerous. Then throw in a hot Yainer, Loperfido, Cam, Brice, Jake, and its even better for us.

  10. Three wins a row! I believe that is a winning streak!

LMJ haters, avert your eyes, because LMJ pitched his ass off tonight. 7 innings of 1 run baseball. LMJ turned back the clock tonight. I knew he had it in him, but I to pitch how he did? I did NOT see that coming. Here’s to a lot more of that to come.

After scoring 2 runs in the first two games, the Astros have scored 8 runs or more in three straight games. Altuve with a 4-hit game. Yordan, Brice and Walker bringing the power. Some nice defensive plays from Correa. Maybe, just maybe, the 2026 Astros are going to do just fine, y’all. We got Diesel back on the mound tomorrow. We won 3 in a row. Why not make it 4?

  11. LMJ’s arguably 2nd best season was 2021, a contract year for him. 2026 is a contract year….

  12. Still early but man, just judging from a process standpoint, the offense is taking such better ABs than last year. So much more patient, so much more selective. I’ll chalk game 1 up to Soriano just being flat out nasty, and game 2 was some of the worst BABIP luck I’ve ever seen. These guys are starting to hit like they’re capable of. Seeing Altuve take walks and Walker swing gap-to-gap instead of trying to pull everything, it’s so refreshing. Cam still struggling a little with sliders from RHPs, but if he turns that corner the way Pena did last year, look out.

And then there’s Lance. Just wow. Dude has been left for dead and he came out with the game of his life to start the season. I won’t even call it vintage Lance because I’ve never seen him this efficient and precise with his command. The velocity with his fastball and the bite on his breaking ball aren’t what they used to be, but between the improved command and the expanded pitch mix, it looks like he’s adjusting to what his arm is capable of and that feels so encouraging. Damn what a great win.
