  1. There’s three ways to judge the trade and two of them can only happen: in 1) the moment, 2) after this draft and 3) once all the picks convey. In the moment it was a bad trade, if we get a top 3 pick AND we draft a good pick up then maybe there’s a conversation to be had but the Kings have to commit to wanting to be a better franchise not just a good team. I’m tired of wins that don’t matter and going for short term success. I hope we get a good pick but the FO needs to prove to the fans that they care about the future and not just their pocket books.

  2. Absolutely not. They should have sat Fox and waited till after the lottery. SA getting the second changes the calculus for the spurs and Fox. Regardless letting a lame duck GM trade our best asset for minimal draft assets and an older player was stupid no matter how u spin it.

  3. I don't think this draft is all its cracked up to be. Dybantsa is an oversized DeRozan, Peterson is less than the dominant player he was in high school, Boozer has a pretty low ceiling. That leaves a handful of good but not generational guards, Wilson has no jump shot etc.

  4. Will you have commentators make comments like this the answers obvious the trade is bad. But it's not y'all's fault it's your management it's your ownership they have made bad decisions for years so if you're gonna argue that blame your ownership.

  5. No it wasn't. The Kings essentially got 5 second round picks, a bad Spurs 27 pick, and a wildcard T Wolves 31 pick. Oh yeah, and an overpriced Lavine who gets mad when fans tell him to play better defense. 😂

This trade was horrible for the Kings.

  6. The De’Aaron Fox made the Kings a worse team allowing them to land a higher draft lottery pick in the upcoming draft than they would have otherwise had.

If they got good players back on the trade from the Spurs instead of draft picks, they would have won more games this season.
