1. Larkin and Copp were not the reason they were gonna miss the playoffs. Please, this isnt Crosby and malkin who btw have missed time and Pittsburgh is still winning and they have an average Skinner in nets. This team is becoming sad to watch. I was so surprised they won that game vs the Sabres. My god, can they put together 2 game winning streak? That isnt asking much and to be down 4-0 at home. Not one team fighting to get in or stay in have been embarrassed like this. The games are close except this team. Just look at the results

2. Don't take it too hard…the Flyers are a better team than the Red Wings. 😊

3. Anyone blaming Yzerman still is numb. The team showed it can play good, it's just only for 5 minutes lol.. Lack of leadership, feel like Larkin talk should start..

4. The wings just want to miss the playoffs to get more draft picks to trade for draft picks then trade them for old washed up players.

5. This team hates contact! I'm not even sure why they play dump and chase hockey. They are weak against the glass, So many defensive zone turnovers . Just a poorly constructed roster. John Gibson worst game is giving up 4 goals and because of the lack of scoring, it feels like he gave up 8 .. Time to clean out the front office.

6. If Lazy Stevie survives the off season, he needs to make a huge trade to shake things up. This team has ZERO heart, which right or wrong is a reflection on Larkin. He was a much better player in the Olympics, when he had Quinn Hughes feeding him the puck. Larkin may need to go. Also, fire McClellan and hire the coach that Vegas just let go. McClellan owns the way this team is playing too.

8. I've been saying the whole season, the fprward group isn't good enough. I never wanna hear about these prospects ever again. No other team wants them and they arent making an impact

10. No other GM in NHL history has been given 7 years with zero playoff appearances. None.

11. The Red Wings have no identity as a team. They are fast but dont use it to break in; they aren't gritty and lack the heart to go to the dirty area to get goals; they dump the puck and cycle poorly if they get it back. This isnt a skill issue–its a heart issue.

12. Hate to say it but do Larkin a favor and trade him this summer. He’s never played a playoff game right? I haven’t looked it up but it’s been over a decade since they were in the playoffs. Send him to a contender and load up on several high picks. This isn’t working out and his career is being wasted.
    We all love Yzerman for what he did for this team, but this might be the end.

17. I took wife before Olympic break to her first wings game. They didn’t score a goal and looked like soft ballerinas. I want my money back and won’t go again until they get a real captain.

19. I sure do miss the Wings 1983 – 2014. The franchise seems lost now.
