Show Miles McBride some love! Type 2
Didn’t we want a coach that would mix it up and not be afraid to change lineups and do different things schematically? I get that Brown has made some mistakes in moves that didn’t work but he’s making the moves. Yes he has to better but two things can be true here. He’s making adjustments and sometimes those adjustments don’t work. He has to be better.
Blame this on Leon Rose. Trading five No.1 draft picks for Bridges. Bridges is a very good player but not worth that package and his overpay contract.
Towns can score 40 points . Towns defense will give up 50 points.
Is tyler to small that M. BROWM can't see'm ??
Don't know why they signed brown. I would've took my chances with mike malone.
LOVE ME SOME DUECE MCBRIDE I EVEN NAMED MY CAT DUECY. ANYWAY I SO SORRY THAT DUECE IS REINJURED. THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK TO SOON. ANYWAY MIKAL INVISIBLE BRIDGES NEEDS TO STEP UP, KAT STOP THE BABY BS. YOU ARE NO LONGER IN THE 4TH POSITION POWER FORWARD YOU ARE NOW THE 5TH POSITION. ACTUALLY I THINK THAT KAT IS WEAK. I'M REALLY NOT FEELING HIM ANYMORE. 57 MILLION A YEAR LEON POKER FACE ROSE YOU HAVE MACE SOME SUSPECT CONTRACT SIGNINGS. IF THE KNICKS DON'T MAKE IT TO THE 3RD ROUND IT'S GOING TO BE CLEANING THE HOUSE BECAUSE GIANNIS IS COMING TO THE KNICKS. I'M JUST SAYING 🤔😮
It never fails what could possibly go wrong for the Knicks. Now our most important bench player could be done for the year and We can't replace him.
Definitely that lost was Mike Brown fault.
So exited to lose in 4 in the first round
Highest hopes I’ve ever had at the beginning of the season. Now looking like a 1st or 2nd round exit..
Knicks are a dumpster fire
Knicks are too soft. They get pushed around and strong armed by the Thunder, Hornets,Pacers and Celtics. But do we expect toughness from Brunson, Anunoby and KAT? We won't be serious contenders until we get some tough minded who dont dap up and jersey swap with the opposing teams after a beat down like they did against the Hornets. Knicks need tough minded leadership.
Should have traded him while his value was high but now he's done … team sucks
I swear, I still think that if they would design an offense surrounding a double big line up it would work! Rotating Hart and Bridges, put that dude we just got from San Antonio subbing out Robinson and Deawara subbing KAT. I’d put $1000 on it that would work!
Fuck it, I’m starting to accept it, making it to the playoffs is as far as we’re going to get!!! Next year, new team, which suck because I love this team, but they can’t stay consistent!
get the whole team involved. one way offense all about brunson so predictable. making clarkson a defensive player. cant even hold the ball. set up you shooters make screens. all iso gor brunson
Here's something for you KNICKS FANS to ponder over during the Off-season as OUR TEAM does a QUICK EXIT stage left, LOSING in the FIRST ROUND in the upcoming NBA PLAYOFFS starting next month in APRIL (2026).
In the Off-season, TRADE MIKAL BRIDGES back to the BROOKLYN NETS for MICHAEL PORTER, JR. Their SALARIES are about the SAME, being 37.5 MIL versus 38.3 MIL.
And MICHAEL PORTER, JR. was already part of a NBA CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM in 2023 with the DENVER NUGGETS.
Y'all gonna thank me, one day, for putting this out there.
When they had Tibbs they were the Knickerbockers with Brown they're back to the Stinkasockers
Maybe the Knicks should quit reaching in and fouling teams
The Knicks should trade Tyler Kolek, Pacome Dadiet, Kevin McCullar Jr, Jeremy Sochan, Ariel Hukporti, to the Blazers for Jrue Holiday, Matisse Thybulle,Jerami Grant,Robert Williams, Yang Hansen, Trade Karl'Antonthy, Towns, Mitchell Robinson, Mohamed Diawara,Dillion Jones,Miles McBride,Trey Jemison, to the Jazz for Ace Bailey, Lauri Markkanen,Kevin Love, Jusuf Nurkic, Walker Kessler,Sign Cam Thomas,
Man this team is really hard to watch this might be the most stressful team the Knicks have ever put together
2. Deuce is not the only trade asset. A lot of our young guys are doing well in Westchester .
NOW DO YOU GUYS MISS THIBBS 😤😤
Brown is not the coach for this team. His rotations suck. Major changes are coming to this team. Brown needs to go.
Look, Brown is an experienced coach, so he has to know what’s wrong with his team. What Brown needs to do is build a back bone, and do what’s best for this team. Forget what Rick Brunson is telling, because Rick wants what’s best for his son and the Brunson brand, but it’s messing up the team. Brunson is a great player, but his style of play doesn’t suit what Brown wants. JB doesn’t push pace, and he doesn’t move the ball around enough. When the Knicks move the ball they look great!
Bulls waiving Jaden ivy should we get him
Sounds like Mcbride might be questionable so some good news. But i think he was brought back too early. They should just save hime till the last 2 games. They need to be patient and so does Mcbride. I agree that Brown needs to tweak his timing of substitutions and improve defensive schemes. Brunson needs to move the ball more. Why trade for Alvarado only to rush Mcbride back? I love Kolek, so Let him Alvi and Clarkson handle backup pg roles. Imo
Sorry, but this wasn't on Mike Brown. Not only did the Knicks come out flat, but they were missing a lot of 3 pointers that would have given them the lead. In addition, they weren't driving to the rim enough which is why they weren't getting that many free throws. I absolutely agree that the referees were missing some calls and giving OKC a few extra calls. But the solution is to drive to the rim rather than just jacking up 3s or playing slow. That was Thibs' style which is why the Knicks got whipped by Indiana in the playoffs. The loss to Charlotte and now to the Thunder is due to going back to that style of play. Thibs' team didn't come close to beating the Thunder. This Knicks team did.
I agree that Mike Brown made the mistake of taking out KAT. But that was for 30 seconds. That's not enough for them to lose the game. KAT is an all star. Why not just drive to the rim and dunk? Alex Caruso shouldn't be dominating him. He's not a 7 footer. As for Mitchell Robinson? He took the day off. The guy I saw there wasn't Mitch. Where were his blocks?
No…the Knicks were good, but they can be far better. We saw them whip San Antonio and Denver this season. Where are those Knicks? I have no idea who those guys are that we saw playing today. Are they going to lay down and be run over like train tracks or are they going to stand up and go to war? Where are their spines? We have 2 all star players in Jalen Brunson and KAT. We have Mikal Bridges a borderline all star. There's OG Anunoby… an allstar level defender and borderline all star on offense. We have Josh Hart, an elite do it all jack of all trades. Then we have a mix of talented role players on the bench…on offense and defense.
This team CAN BE the Thunder. They just have to start believing in themselves, stop jacking up 3 pointers except in RHYTHM (we don't have Steph or Klay on this team) and run faster. OKC is good, but when all the Knicks were scoring…we could all see that they couldn't contain this team. And that's without Mohammed Diawara, Landry Shamet, Ariel Hukporti, Tyler Kolek, Jeremy Sochan and Pacome Dadiet.
What the Knicks need to do is:
1.-Speed up the pace
2.-Pass faster out of double teams. If 2 or 3 guys are around you, that means someone else is open. Move the ball and you'll get an easier, open & higher quality shot. That's what OKC is doing.
3.-Get in the passing lanes. That will create turnovers and lead to steals. This will get the team extra points and take away some from the other team.
4.-For goodness sake…get out in transition rather than walking the ball up the court. If the team does that, they can get to the other basket before the opposing team's defense can set back up…meaning easier baskets or a trip to the free throw line. Josh Hart is a one man fastbreak and is nearly unstoppable on the open floor.
5.-Move well without the ball rather than standing still. That will tire out the opposing team on defense…meaning they will have less energy to score. It might also mean more open shots as defenders are likely to be more focused on the guy with the ball.
6.-Do more ally oops. That will not only get the centers involved but will get the team easier baskets and possibly a trip to the free throw line for an "and one."
7.-Do more pick n' rolls.
8.-Set more screens…which will make it easier for the guy with the ball to score before the defender gets to him.
9.-Pass faster in general. This will make it more difficult for defenders to keep up.
10.-Score more in the mid range. That's Mikal Bridge's and Jalen Brunson's area of expertise.
11.-Pretend to post up but pass behind the defender to a guy cutting down the lane for an easy basket on the run.
The Knicks look like they were built to challenge OKC for the first time, but for some reason they're choosing not to do it. We have more than 5 guys that can score 20 points. Why aren't they doing it?
If the Knicks don't win the conference finals, I think they should go out and get at least 2 of these guys:
Jaren Jackson Jr. (If he's okay after surgery), Quentin Grimes, Donte DiVincenzo, RJ Barrett, Nic Claxton, Malik Beasley, Saddiq Bey, Trey Murphy III, Jarrett Allen, Domantas Sabonis, Wendell Carter, Keldon Johnson, Kelly Oubre Jr., Sam Hauser or Malik Monk. We need athletes, centers and a consistent 3 point shooter.
This bi polar team is frustrating to watch…..this all starts with Brunson. You have to stand around or cut and not get the rock while your iso ball, shoot first, undersized PG chucks up shoots 95% of the time and only passes when hes in trouble. The players look defeated, as a teammate you work hard and then cant even get multiple touches if any.
No other top tier teams (Det, Bos, Clev, Char, ATL) constantly play through one core player like the NYKs do…they have consistent ball movement thats how you beat defenders. The NYKs are madd predictable and stoppable and will always be as long as they continue to hoop this way through Brunson.
