Huge implications tonight. A win, islanders loss, and blue jackets loss has us looking at the 3rd spot in the metro. A win, red wings, blue jackets, and senators loss has us in the 2nd wild card spot at the end of the night.

  1. In the last decade, every time the Flyers would pop up onto the city’s collective radar with a big game, they would lose. Winning the game tonight (and on Thursday) is almost as important for changing that vibe as it is for the playoff odds.

  2. Surprised CBJ and NYI losing wouldn’t boost the odds a bit more. And that our own win is 11 percent. Interesting.

  3. The fact that by the end of the day we can have better than a coin flips chance at the playoffs is insane to think about.

  4. thanks for this, i usually have a bad time with numbers but for whatever reason this graphic actually helped me understand things

  5. Insane that a single win turns it into a coin flip. Proud of our guys, let’s keep it rolling.

  6. Biggest game of the season. We haven’t won 4 in a row in a long time. We could break our all-time road game winning streak. The whole city is going to be paying attention. Porter Martone is making his debut. This might be the last time we play against Ovi. This is a really a make or break game. I’m going to throw up.

  7. As usual by far the biggest impact is just that they take care of their own business.

Isles did get absolutely spanked yesterday and will have their backup no save Dave going today. Since we play them this week thats maybe our best chance at taking a spot

  8. Weird that the Pittsburgh/Detroit game apparently doesn’t affect the odds?
