  1. Holy the art of stretching 2 minutes of info into a 10 minutes with so many words. The more I watch these the more I realize they are just words spinning around.

  2. If such a move is NOT in violation of any league rule – Bettman and the NHL front office should keep their collective and respective noses out of such TEAM decisions.

  3. Bettman is still living the Rocket RICHARD RIOTS. Having A Quebec team treatening to challenge for a cup has to be dealth wtth. Its time to end this childish game of leadership ,,

  4. Betman doesn't like seeing Montreal succeed and the players actually enjoying themselves.

Absolutely nothing wrong with what Montreal is doing.
The league needs to stay in its lane. If a team is running three goalies, they obviously don't need all three dressed for each game, so why would they not rest the goalie for the next game?

  5. GEE ! ARE WE IN IRAN OR AFGHANISTAN? I ASSUME THAT THE HOCKEY LEAGUE WILL DICTATE WHAT THE HOCKEY PLAYERS HAVE TO EAT,WHEN THEY HAVE TO GO TO BED, WHAT KIND OF
UNDERWEAR THEY SHOULD HAVE..? THE MONTREAL CANADIENS OR ANY OTHER TEAM SHOULD DECIDE WHO EVER IS GOING TO PLAY .I ASSUME THAT THE COACH HAS TO GIVE THE
NAMES OF THE PLAYERS X NUMBERS OF HOUR BEFORE THE GAME STARTS???

  6. Bettman has needed to go since he arrived. He comes frrom the NBA, which is only 1 rung above the WWE in the " it isn't real, it's entertainment " grouping. The quote is a paraphrasing of a statement made by Roger Goodell , who was asked by someone to tell him yes or no, is the NFL fixed or not. Goodell's immediate reply was " it's entertainment. " As for this issue, the NHL told them to do something, the club complied, and the next time the same situation arose, the club did the same thing, like the league told them to, and were told it was improper. It can't be both ways, and our boy buttmunch is about to realise the Canadian hockey fan is so much wiser than it's counterparts in other parts of the world. Montreal is being targeted by an American corporate entity for being too good to be left alone. Edmonton v Montreal in the finals is a realistic threat for at least the next 5 years. Anything Gary can do to derail that possibility will be used, even if they have to invent something to do it.

  7. So much talk for no real explanation. What are the rules? If it's a rule it's fine, if it's not, why the Habs management would obey to a command not based on a rule?
