  1. Another great point on Alex Anzalone on X: "Everyone knows Frank retired because of medical.. they got him on a contractural technicality"

The guy retired because his body couldn't hold up anymore. YOU GIVE HIM THE MONEY.

  2. Lots of weird fans across the Social media platforms defending the Lions. Strange energy. The goal should be a SUPER BOWL. You dont get it by being cheap and losing trust in players. You should never expect a Lions player to take a discount like Tom Brady when you operate like this.

  3. Enough of the knob slobbin, don't ever down play a blue collar worker let alone in a blue collar city who's blue collar money supports the team! These players are well compensated for their talent, and business is business! You don't get paid for services not completed love frank but this wouldn't be a big thing if they took money back from a unfavorable player which means it has to be fair across the board especially with a unionized organization something us blue collar workers know a little about. I wish blue collar police officers, teachers and other essential people got paid those little millions Frank has to pay back 😢

  4. Taking Barry and Calvin's $igning bonus made more sense, they retired early, no notice or expectation they were going to call it quits. Calvin did have some injury issues as well, don't want to downplay the finger kind of like Frank's toe. Ragnow's retirement everyone knew it was coming eventually. The timing wasn't great at all after the draft and FA but we knew it was inevitable. Wonder if Ragnow's physical would've passed elsewhere last season…??? Might've kept him retired out of spite for the bad timing or most likely didn't want to pay him. I'd love to hear his side of the story. he didn't ask for a release like Decker. Speaking of which the Decker damage control the last week doesn't look great either.

  5. All of this culture character and we're a family is just gaslighting from the Lions. People can say anything watch what they do. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it, the organization shows what they're really about it's not winning it's money.

  6. This is stupid. I don’t like it at all. What are the Lions going to do with that money anyways? Not sign an edge? Sign an injured player? The money is better spent on Frank than anything else they’ll do with it 👎🏼👎🏼

  7. I wish this aggressive, cutthroat mentality also applied to making moves to help take the team over the hump and win a superbowl. Instead we are nitpicking at people who gave us their body and trying breadcrumb money to pay a fucking running back earlier than we have to 30Mil a year. Its a waste.

Im typically pro the org when it comes to players retiring early in cases where they wanna play chicken and are just overall “unhappy” but in this case Frank retired bc his body broke down. It’s an honorable thing and we should have just let him keep what he deserved.

We can kiss away any hope for him being involved with the team now.

  8. Lmfao 🤣 crying and simping to a multi-millionaire losing some money from not honoring his contract is hilarious. I don't care either way if they pay him or not. Although if I were to have a problem with one it would be this one as opposed to Calvin or Barry. Frank was medical, other two were not.

  9. I actually don't mind this. Don't do the job don't get paid. This is a business after all. Pretty straightforward.

He made millions and is still getting paid 10k a month just for existing since he played in the NFL

  10. 100% he should pay it back.
Yes it also makes the Lions look bad somewhat, but still the correct thing to do from a business perspective.
